Quest Equipment was founded in 2003 by Jenny Baxter, a food technologist by training, who had spent 5 years in technical & marketing roles in ingredients before moving to the equipment side. With 16 years’ experience as MD of a similar agency business before starting Quest, it didn’t take long for the company to be recognised as one of a few companies in the UK with many years’ technical experience in the food processing industry and in the supply of equipment. We have been working exclusively with some of our suppliers in Europe and USA for almost 40 years and as such, the company has built up a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Josh Baxter joined the business in 2020.

There are many reasons to purchase new equipment and justification may include increased capacity requirements, innovation, new product launches, replacement of old or poorly performing equipment and obsolescence. There is also a drive for improved efficiencies from a performance perspective but also energy efficiency through improved insulation, alternative energy sources, energy efficient motors etc. Through regular dialogue with & visits to our suppliers, we can share the latest developments with our customers and ensure they are updated accordingly.

Quest Equipment

Quest Equipment can bring a different and complementary perspective to projects with the ability to put together a whole line from intake of raw materials through to end of line wrapping. However often a customer is looking to replace a unit machine. Whatever the requirement, with our experience we are able to work with our customers to design a line which meets their requirements, including specification, project management during manufacture & delivery of the equipment, provide installation & commissioning expertise and  a full after sales service including the provision of spare parts and engineering support.
